Greetings! I’d like to take a moment to share with you some things about me and my family. I grew up in a Christian home in Kokomo, Indiana. After graduating High School, I attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri. Upon graduation, I moved to Pryor, Oklahoma as the Youth Minister and Preschool Director at Southside Christian Church. In Pryor, I met my wife Lisa. We have been married 30+ years and have served together in four ministries (Pryor, OK; Mexico, MO; Knob Noster, MO; and DeKalb). I have two brothers and one sister. Lisa has one brother who is also a preacher.

We have two daughters (Marisa & Bethany), and 2 son-in-laws (Sean & David) added to our family in October 2020 and March 2025. Bethany and Sean welcomed their first child, Oliver, on Thanksgiving Day in 2022. David is a KDoT Transportation Planner in Kansas City, Missouri, Marisa is a Physical Therapy Assistant in Parkville, Missouri, Sean is an Environmental Engineer in Overland Park, KS, and Bethany is a stay-at-home mom. 

We love the Church, and our Church in DeKalb loves people. I invite you to come and find out for yourself. We are a Bible-based, Mission-minded, Christ-centered congregation. We may live in a small town; but we have BIG plans to serve God.
